The predecessor of Brown-Rogers-Dixson (B-R-D) was founded in Winston, N.C. in 1880. As one of the premier hardware distributors in the nation, B-R-D built a legacy of dealing with and for the independent retail dealer. In 1979, when factories were pulling brands from distribution channels and going after the “big box” stores, B-R-D got together with several “sister” distributors and founded the new Crosley Corporation. Crosley was and is based on the premise that independent retailers deserve a brand that is dedicated to them and their survival. Since that time B-R-D has dropped and added brands as the landscape has changed for independent dealers. We feel the stable of brands we can offer the dealer today represents one of, if not the strongest lineup of quality, profitable merchandise available anywhere.
We offer the full-line of appliances from Crosley, made by the best factories in the industry; and with the best warranty available today on a complete line. We also carry the Amana line with a complete selection in our warehouse. In electronics, we offer the complete line of LG HDTVs and related equipment along with the NEW Crosley HDTVs!. To help make the television a true entertainment experience, we have a line of entertainment furniture by various manufacturers. To round out our selection, we also offer a mix of Omnimount flat panel mounting systems, Tripp-Lite surge protection, and the Phoenix Gold line of custom install products. We also carry the Sherwood and Sherwood Newcastle line of A/V receivers and other electronics. We are now a full-line furniture distributor, with a complete selection of living room, bedroom, and dining room furniture.
